The Clinton-Laurens-Newberry Tennis Association held its 13th Annual Sanctioned One-Day Adult Doubles Tournament this past Saturday, November 21st, at Presbyterian College. 24 players from 14 cities and towns across South Carolina competed. Lunch was provided by Jason's Dempsey's Pizza Restaurant.
In the Women's 3.0 Division, Rhonda Prince (Boiling Springs) and Donna Zimmerman (Moore) were Champions in their round robin.
In the Women’s 3.5 Division, Karen Nutt (Moore) and Karen Wilkins (Spartanburg) were also the Champions in their round robin.
In the Men’s 3.0 Division, Wen Chen and Chuan Lee (both of Greer) came back to this tournament winning the Championship title this time!
In the Men’s 3.5 Division, Bill Craine and Ricky Rumfelt (both of Laurens) were the Champions.
The CLNTA will hold its next sanctioned tournament in Laurens on May 29th.
